-
Hammer Handles: Keep wooden handles smooth, grippy, and protected from moisture damage.
-
Hand Saws: Condition both the wooden grip and metal blade for optimal longevity and comfort.
-
Mauls and Splitting Tools: Strengthen the handle and seal out moisture for safer, longer-lasting performance.
-
Chisels and Carving Tools: Protect intricate wooden handles and prevent rust buildup on metal parts.
-
Garden Tools: Shield rakes, hoes, and shovels from weathering and wear with a water-resistant finish.
-
Wooden Mallets: Maintain a comfortable, clean grip and protect against degradation.
-
Tool Restoration Projects: Restore life to vintage or heirloom tools by reviving both wood and metal surfaces.
-

KingsFleet™ - Tool Handle Wax
INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Prepare the Tool Handle:
- Clean: Remove any dirt, grime, or old residue using a damp cloth or mild soap and water. Dry the handle thoroughly before proceeding.
- Smooth: If the handle is rough, splintered, or heavily worn, lightly sand it with fine-grit sandpaper to create a smooth surface. Wipe off any sanding dust.
-
Apply the Wax:
-
Using a clean cloth or applicator pad, scoop a small amount of KingsFleet Tool Handle Wax.
- Rub the wax onto the wooden handle in small, circular motions. Work the product into the wood, ensuring even coverage.
-
Focus on High-Wear Areas:
- Pay extra attention to areas where the handle experiences the most wear or contact. This includes the grip and spots exposed to moisture or friction.
-
Allow Absorption:
- Let the wax sit and absorb into the wood for at least 30 minutes. For deeper conditioning, leave it overnight in a cool, dry place.
-
Buff the Handle:
- Once the wax has absorbed, use a clean, soft cloth to buff the handle.
- Buffing enhances the wood’s natural sheen, smooths the surface, and removes any excess wax.
Tips for Best Results:
- Reapply as Needed: For frequently used tools, reapply every 4-6 weeks or after exposure to harsh conditions.
- Storage: Store your tools in a dry environment to prolong the effects of the wax.
- Prevention: Avoid submerging wooden handles in water, which can strip the wax and damage the wood.
