KingsFleet™ - Hard Wax
INSTRUCTIONS:

• Prepare the Wood Surface:
  • Clean the Surface: Remove any dirt, dust, or old finishes using a damp cloth or appropriate cleaner. Ensure the wood is completely dry before application.
  • Smooth the Surface: If the wood is rough or uneven, lightly sand it with fine-grit sandpaper. Wipe away any sanding dust to ensure a clean surface.
• Soften the Wax (Optional):
  • KingsFleet Hard Wax is naturally firm due to the carnauba wax content. It will warm up with friction as you apply it, but you can also warm it slightly by placing the container near a heat source to make application easier.
• Apply the Wax:
  • Use a soft cloth or applicator pad to pick up a small amount of wax.
  • Rub the wax onto the wood in circular motions, working it into the grain. Apply a thin, even layer across the entire surface.
  • For intricate or detailed areas, soften the wax by placing it's container in a tray of hot water, then use a soft-bristled brush to ensure complete coverage.
• Let the Wax Set:
  • Allow the wax to cure for 15-30 minutes. During this time, it will penetrate the wood and form a protective layer. For a deeper finish, you can leave it on overnight.
• Buff the Surface:
  • Once the wax has set, use a clean, dry cloth, or buffing pad to polish the surface.
  • Buffing enhances the wood’s natural shine, creates a smooth finish, and removes any excess wax.
• Optional Second Coat:
  • For added durability and a richer finish, apply a second coat of wax, repeating the above steps, after the previous coat has full cured and is dry to the touch.

Tips for Best Results:

• Thin Layers: Always apply thin, even coats to avoid over-saturating the wood.
• Avoid Excess Wax: Excess wax can create a cloudy appearance. Buff thoroughly to achieve a clear, polished look.
• Reapply as Needed: For frequently used or high-traffic surfaces, reapply every few months to maintain protection and shine.

Maintenance:

• To refresh the surface, clean it gently with a slightly damp cloth and reapply a thin layer of wax as needed.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives that can strip the wax.
