How To Maintain Your Cutting Board

Step 1

Wash board, by hand, with luke-warm water. Avoid soap as it may damage the wood. Do not soak or submerge cutting board. Ensure the board is clean and no food residue remains. Rinse and stand until dry.

Step 2

Coat wood product with KingsFleet Cutting Board Oil. Take care to spread evenly and thoroughly, leaving a thin layer of oil to stand and soak into the board. Leave board (recommended 12-24 hours) and wipe away any excess oil. Let dry.

Step 3

Apply KingsFleet Cutting Board Wax to dry wood surface. Spread evenly with a clean cloth or applicator. Coat the entire surface of the board. Let dry.

Step 4

Store your cutting board in a cool, dry, area out of direct sunlight. Avoid exposure to any heat source such as a range or stovetop. (Repeat steps 1-4 as necessary). Enjoy a lifetime with your cutting board!
